All of us at Tamar Care would like to share our condolences with her family, particularly her daughter Natalie, who helped us with these words of tribute, and all those who knew Anita and cared about her or were cared for by her.

Anita was someone who always put others before herself. Caring for people came naturally to her, and she took great pride in being able to help and support those around her.

From a young age Anita was hardworking and determined, beginning her working life in Manchester at an accountancy practice, where she quickly learned the value of responsibility and dedication.

Anita was a mother, to Natalie and her brother Stephen, a role that meant everything to her. Family was always at the heart of her life, and nothing brought her more joy than her grandchildren, whom she absolutely idolised and loved dearly.

Over the years Anita worked in roles that reflected her strong work ethic and commitment to helping others. She spent several years working at the Post Office in Irlam, where she became a familiar and friendly face in the community. She also worked in hospital theatres at Salford Royal, where she gained valuable experience in a busy healthcare environment.

Anita found her true calling in adult social care. She worked incredibly hard, building her career through several different organisations and roles. Her dedication, compassion, and determination helped her progress through the career ladder until she finally achieved the role of Care Manager at Tamar Care.

Tamar was more than just a workplace for Anita. It was where she formed some of her strongest and most meaningful friendships, alongside colleagues who shared her passion for caring for others. She was deeply committed to her role and took great pride in the difference she made to the lives of the people she supported.

She will be missed by her family, the carers and customers at Tamar Care and by many in the community she served.
